2016 airstream interstate shade motor

Good evening, I posted this question recently but with no avail.
I ordered a shade motor from Amazon to avoid the 300 plus OEM replacement. Motor fit and works but does not function with the shade remote.
Do I need to program the new motor?
Has anyone encountered the same issue with Amazon shade motors?

Attached clip from the owner's manual indicates you must reprogram the remote when replacing the motor. It also makes reference to reprogramming instructions in the power shade owner's manual.

One would have been provided by Airstream with the van when new. But if you are not the original owner you probably don't have it.

You could call or contact Airstream Customer Service to get a copy.

If you have the brand name you could search for a copy of the manual online.

I believe in 2016 Airstream used AutoMotionShade products.
