Hi all,
I recently bought a used Rockwood HW296 to upgrade from an old Jayco. Nothing happens when I turn the water pump on. I have double-checked the fuse, no issues. I just about tore the camper apart but for the life of me could not find the water pump. Anyone know where it might be?
I own a 2018 Flagstaff 23B and have winterized it myself each year without any issues. This year the water pump keeps on running and doesn’t build up enough pressure in the line. I’ve included my process along with photos for the group to see.
1) I drain my hot water tank and turn the bypass...
I'm winterizing my 2020 Bullet 243BHS this weekend. For the life of me, I can't figure out where the intake is so I can pump antifreeze into the water lines. The pump itself in behind the the fresh water tank fill. Anybody know where to look?
Approximately 2 years ago I replaced the water pump diaphragm and check valve. Didn’t need to remove the pump to complete the work. Did fine for two years and stopped pumping. Motor ran, buy no water.
This time I replaced the whole unit. Actually easier than replacing the element and not...
Hey all,
Looking to add a Topargee water tank gauge to my water tank feed. Showermiser says the best location when you have and use the showermiser is to put the sender unit is between tank and return line from the showermiser.
Attached are pictures from my 2608BS where I marked 3 lines at...
When boondocking the electric water pump operates too frequently.
I have checked every water appliance inside and outside and no leaks and no apparent leaks from under the trailer.
The water heater has been purged and no air comes out of faucets
Could the pressure on/off switch have an...
In my 2019 Sunseeker there was a water leak on the floor. Аfter my search, it turned out that water was flowing from under the bed from the water pressure regulator.
The problem is that I can't find where to buy this regulator to replace it. This regulator is in the pipe that sends water to the...
Hi all.
We just purchased a 2014 Forest River Blue Ridge 3125RT this past year.
I was winterizing it today and blew all lines with air. Hooked the hose up to the water supply fitting and put the other end in the antifreeze jug.
Turned the switch for the water pump on the control panel to "ON"...
Hi,
There is a mystery, could be an after-market add-on, switch right above the water pump and seems to be connected to the hydraulic HWH pump system.
What might it be?
Moreover:
1999 HWH slide not activating- not out, but stuck in.
When I press either side of the rocker switch- nothing...
G’day, I think I may have a water pump issue. I filled my fresh water tank and headed off to a boondocking campground. Here now, but no pressure in my system. Turned the pump on am I get a dribble from my taps, but no real pressure. I want to troubleshoot the pump, but don’t know where to find...
Does anyone know how to remove the 12v water pump on a 2017 forester model 2801qs.
Water pump runs, but no water output. I have water going into the pump but no water coming out of the pump when pump is running. I need to remove the pump to check the pump filter but the filter it is not...
I’m a first time travel trailer owner and I need some help. I’m connected to city water. But the water pump leaks. I do not have the water pump on. It has a continuous drip. It started the first week I stayed in my trailer. Then stopped for a few weeks. And is dripping again. I know it needs...
Hi,
We picked up a 2022 Riverstone Legacy 39RKFB two weeks ago from a dealer in another state. We soon discovered a number of manufacturer defects and other issues, but importantly, we realized that the Shureflo model 4008 water pump doesn't work. It appears to not be fully wired.
I looked at...
Our water pump check valve stuck and allowed our house tank to receive water. We are stationary and never plan to go on the road boon docking. Is there a way to bypass our faulty pump rather than replace it (again)? Our Keystone Alpine 2013 has a "winterize" valve that seems to stop water...
The water pump has a few hoses going to/from, and one is a short hose, bluish in color, that has a plug in one end: Is this a p/u hose to run antifreeze in?
Our water pump is located next to our bed and extends out from where our pass-through is boxed out, so getting in & out of bed and making the bed was even harder on that side of the bed.
My project was to redesign the Water Pump cabinet next to our bed so I could make it a step to get in and...
Water pump in my 245 bunkhouse quit working. Cant find the pump, looked under kitchen sink and next to water heater (under the lower bunk) and have not found it yet. Any tips??
After jwiebe posted his Thread:
IRVWPC Water Pump Controller
I was intrigued to try this out for myself. I ordered the Intelligent Recreational Vehicle Water Pump Controller (IRVWPC) from the Canadian company:
HOME / IRVWPC
Total cost here in the States was $220.71, and it took ten days to...
My water pump went bad. I replaced the water pump, I wired back the same way as the old one. When I turn on the pump switch, the light lights but the pump doesn’t start. Does the water have to be taken off of city water, and the bypass have to be turned in order to make the pump work? Just...
After seeing numerous recommendations for this controller, I installed the IRVWPC (Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller) today. This thing is fantastic.
It regulates the voltage to the pump which prevents hammering and offers supreme improvements in noise on lower flow.
I did a couple...
Hello to All:
I was camping this past week at Michigan International Speedway and had a strange electrical outage occur.
I turned on the vent fan (located over the stove) and oddly, the stereo which was playing cut out for about 3-4 seconds before coming on again.
However, when I went to...
Hi
Me and my wife bought a used apex nano 208BHS. ( our first travel trailer )
Most of the camp grounds don’t have a city water and the flow from the fresh water tank is almost nonexistent. I thought because it was used that maybe the pump was bad so I replaced it and it didn’t change at all...
