Just curious if anyone else's 2017 Vengeance 25V didn't come with a Hot water by pass kit and the clear hose from the water pump where you can stick it into the bottle to winterize the RV?
My Hot Water tank only have two valves, one for hot and one for cold. No valve in the middle to by pass...
My pink rv antifreeze has frozen in my toilet as well as in the bottle. My friend said his did too that he left in his pickup. We bought ours at Walmart TSC and Menards. In Michigan had some temps around 0 F bottle say -50.
I have already bypassed the WH and done everything else, even holding the jug of antifreeze above horizontal, but their is no suction happening. What am I missing?

I have a 13 Forest River Sport (33'), w/ tankless hw heater. To winterize, I went under the potable fill, found a small white line, opened it and drained the water, closed the drain pipe, then poured 3 gallons of antifreeze in the potable tank, which opening was directly...
I have read many of the threads on this forum concerning winterizing my 2014 8289WS Fifth Wheel. This unit has never been winterized, and we have never used the fresh water tank/water pump because we have left it in Florida for 2 years during the winter. We have traveled extensively and have...
Confused to say the least. Could someone explain the proper/best procedure to winterize a 17 Roo 19 with an antifreeze inlet. I will drain all fixtures, use the air compressor method to blow out the lines and drain again. Do I still have to do this? And my next question is what is the best...
Just because I have several gallons on hand, I am considering using some car windshield washer antifreeze in my sink traps and holding tanks this year when I winterize. I can't think of a good reason why it wouldn't work.
Any comments?
Ok so I'm a new owner of a shamrock 233s and winter is right around the corner...so I like to be prepared....I'm trying to figure out this system for winterization.
On the front right side of the tt there is a antifreeze inlet right next to the city water inlet...do I just have to connect a...
My coach was winterized last November. We were not able to use the coach this past season due to medical issues but are planning to head south right after Christmas. Question is whether the waterline antifreeze is still good (I don't know how long it lasts). I always flush and sanitize on the...
I want to add an antifreeze intake valve/line between the tank and water pump in my new 195BH. I don't want to use the Camco kit as the pump's a little hard to reach, plus I want to make the line long enough I can route it outside to suck water from a tank should the on-board fresh tank run...
I know it's not time yet to think about winterization, but i located my shurflo water pump was and could not find a line(hose) that would be used when putting rv antifreeze through lines in the fall. I own the BHS272 vibe, can anyone tell me how to pump RV antifreeze through the lines when the...
After going nuts with coolant research, I have come to the conclusion that this stuff FAQ - Final Charge | PEAKhd.com is the best stuff to get, in particular for my 1997 DT466 engine.
It is an OAT type heavy duty ELC without nitrite and (most importantly) compatible with silicon seals. It also...
My wife and I have been on a cross country trip from Tennessee to Washington state in a 3 month old Flagstaff MicroLite. Everything was fine the first several nights. Then, at a campground in Wyoming, after hooking up the city water with 90 pounds of pressure (I did have a regulator/restrictor...
Not sure if this is the right section but I got a quick question. I drain all the water I could out of the fresh water tank and blew out the water lines. My question is will rv antifreeze freeze up. I put some in the toilet and when it was really cold last month I noticed it was starting to...
We have a few low degree days coming and I'm going to winterize(thanks to all of the info here I plan to do it myself) dumb question but can I catch and reuse some of the fluid? We plan on getting back out ASAP .
Thanks

Trying to figure out if my pump is broken or if I've done something wrong. I've never used the pump with the exception of testing it when I got the camper last year and it pulled from the fresh water tank fine. It hasn't been in freezing conditions since that test. The pump seems quiet. I...
After pumping antifreeze through fresh eater system I noticed the water filter bowl was full of antifreeze. I had the WH bypassed, valve to fresh water tank closed and pumped AF in through AF connection .
Is this normal?
So I bought my Antifreeze last night and the stark reality set in that after my final trip for the season next week that it will be time to winterize. I am NOT happy. We had a VERY fun first season and used our new trailer quite a bit.
I've watched several videos on how to winterize with the...
I just read a comment on another thread where someone mentioned putting the RV antifreeze into the city water connection when winterizing. That is the first time I have seen that mentioned. Should I do that when I winterize my Sunseeker?
I am just Winterizing for the second time.
I follow the instruction, and the pump sucks the antifreeze in, the cold taps soon show the red coloured antifreeze, but the hot taps do not have any flow.
I can't recall this happening last year.
Any ideas?
John
I know there is a winterize forum but thought I'd have a better chance here.
On my 2010 21SS I don't see any inlet with valve for antifreeze like my old trailer. Is there one and where is it located? You lucky guys with a newer one apparently have it on outside.
I found the drains just...
