I think I have this narrowed down to a thermostat problem, but I wanted to run it by you geniuses in case there is a known cause/fix.
Went hunting down in the Gila Wilderness this weekend. After a long day of hiking mountains in the snow and seeing no muleys, I went back to my 2016 Jayco BHS...
Two buses, actually. Basically twins of each other; up for auction at GovDeals.com. Go to "Buses, School and Transit", click the Location column to sort, go to Last page. Charlottesville VA. Two identical 2004 Thomas MVP rear engine pushers; just what I'm looking for. One has <100K; one has...
I picked up a new Momentum 348M yesterday. While I was running the AC units to see how they worked I noticed the air was not coming out of the ceiling vents as it should. Having read about a few of the holes from the AC to the duct work being sealed, I removed the AC grills and found;
1. The...
Hi there
We have owned our Jayco Swift 26BH for about a year and a half. We are getting ready for a trip tomorrow and as I was packing I switched on the AC. It was working then shut off and wont turn back on. Is this bc there is not enough power or is something wrong:/ Any help would be great...
The outside high temp was approx 95 degrees and we have 2 air conditioners that could not keep up. It took approx 4 hours (daytime) to cool interior. We had both set on 69 degrees and it would not get below 73 degrees inside. Does this mean something is wrong with our A/C? Also, our bedroom...

Hello,
I will be picking up a new Jayco 1207 in a few days, and am having a hard time deciding between an AC unit and an exhaust fan.
I asked these three questions and got the three responses from the dealer (Hilltop in MN).
1. Is the A/C unit able to operate as just an exhaust fan?
The A/C...
I am checking the cab air conditioning in my 2001 Winnebago Journey. I’ve found two issues—low pressure and the switch on the high side is not turning on the fans. The first issue I can cure; however, the switch does not turn on the cooling fans regardless of the pressure. Without the cooling...
Hi, Beyns here, father to 8 kids. Just bought a 96 bluebird 48 pass. Need advice on electrics and cooling. How to stay cool on the move with 10 warm bodies aboard? It hit 36 degrees C today, and its only June!!!
We live on an acreage in rural Saskatchewan, Canada. Our skoolie is to become a ten...
Just took our Jayco Jaysport 12H IA-frame pop-up) to FL and back for a wedding. On the hottest day (86F) the heat pump failed to keep the inside cool. The rest of the time it worked great. The compressor sounded like it was turning on and off as usual. I tried turning the unit off for 30...
I have a new 308 BHTS travel trailer. In using my AC unit, I turn on the AC by the thermostat. My AC will run until the desired temp is reached, then the fan runs...but it runs continously. The fan does not cut off unless I cut the power to the unit off, at the thermostat. Is it normal for the...
I'm new to the school busses. I wanted a bus for a couple of reasons. We are going to use it as our moving van to move from Indiana to Florida, and then we want to convert to a party bus in Daytona Beach. We first bought a Gillig Phantom that was a Chicago transit bus. The set up for it was...
I am having trouble with my basement air.
When I am running my generator the second compressor does not come on.
Noting that in 85-90 degree weather it gets hot in the coach
Air temperature comming out of the roof vents goes above 70 degrees F.
Normally it comes out at 50 degrees F.
After...
I have a 93 Vectra Diesel with basement air. The air works well. My question is this, the air ducts send most of the air to the front half of the motorhome, leaving 3 ducts for the bedroom. Our bedroom seems to get stuffy at night, which results in our lowering the thermostat making the front...
I have an Itaska 34B and was recently told that while under way, I should use the gen and coach AC as opposed to the chasis AC. I was told that my mileage will improve. Is this true?

This is the third outing on our year 2000 3023. We live in Georgia and it is quite humid here. The AC works great but water condenses inside the camper. I wipe it off and leave a towell under it. It's not horrible just strange. In heavy rain there are no leaks. Any comments?
Thanks!
I don't like the idea of a 90lb permanently mounted AC unit on top of a pop up camper even if it was a Mach 8 of only 8" height. That's the weight of a sack of concrete. But in some areas and uses, I'd love to have an AC unit. I came across this unit, which mounts to the side of a camper or...
Just trying to get a feel on the workings of your air conditioning unit. I have an Infinity 3750FL and had an issue with the design and/or installation of the air conditioner in the kitchen of our unit. Many of you may have read my OP on this subject. With this survey results I hope to...
We have a 2000 2720 SL and would like to install an air conditioner. Is our model pre-wired for A/C? There is a space marked A/C in the breaker box for a 20-amp fuse.
We are new owners and out for the weekend in 84 degrees with full hookups. We have the air conditioning on but it's only keeping the inside at 81 degrees. The compressor is running, fan blowing, partial shade but it just doesn't seem to stay cool. Is this normal?
Voltage 2012 V3005
When running air conditioning the fan will always run, even when the room temperature is below the setting. Also when furnace is running and I have either the generator running or am connected to 110V the (overhead) A/C fan also runs. The fan is not the quietest of units...
My wife and I have managed to do all our camping in a large pop-up the last 16 years...and the pop-up doesn't have air conditioning. Most of our camping has been March-October in the higher elevations of Colorado and New Mexico. We have never needed air conditioning and get really good air...
There is another discussion about the basement air in a '10 Horizon, but instead of hijacking the thread, I am posting my frustration here. I'll leave it to the moderators to decide if the discussions need to be combined into one or not.
I complained last year about my coach cooling and have...
