IMO, their dual compressor (not just dual evap) fridges are the only way to go. They provide completely independent fridge and freezer operation. IIRC, Coachmen is has started to install them in their Galleria. It's hard to believe that some B upfitters are still providing absorption dinosaurs.

I have the 6.0 cf NovaKool compressor with separate fridge and freezer in my Crossfit and it's been working great - I can recommend it without reservation, although some of those units had a bad control module.

Uses 4.5 ah when running, but runs, on average (depending on ambient temps), for about 1/3 the time. You should expect to require approximately 38 ah of battery power per day to run it.
