I purchased my first Rialta about 6 weeks ago, and have been lurking since a bit before then, so I thought it time to introduce myself. I've owned a couple VW campers over the years, plus a couple regular busses, and innumerable other VWs. But this is my first venture with an RV, and am slowly working my way through the issues with it.
The previous owner had a couple strokes, and the Rialta had been sitting for a couple years -- during which time a roof leak developed/worsened. Because of that, I was able to get it for a very reasonable price. It has 100,000 miles on it but only 7,000 since a documented engine and transmission rebuild. I've been working through my "punch list" and I should be taking it on a maiden camping trip in the next few days...
I can hardly wait...
