I am an older person who has always worked in the mechanical and electrical fields except for 12 years before retirement teaching.
I purchased our 2008 knowing that except for major engine or transmission work I could fix or replace anything broken. We would never buy a new one and take on $120,000 or more debt. I picked Chevy because if I can't figure it out, there are mechanics who can in almost any town. Except for my Toyota pickup, I have owned Chevy for 40 years or so. Free advice from a old Farm kid, if you can't fix the old stuff.... buy new(er).
