air shocks

I plan to install some air shocks on my 2000 FD Rialta .....



no listing but the Monroe Max-Air MA830 are so similar to our dimensions ,that id like to try some on ....


personnaly I think it could help the air balloons or maybe even replace them .....



Ill wait for spring to try these on ......still freezing cold up here !

The best thing to do is make sure you have clearance for the movement of the shocks. Also where will you place the air valves? On a 1986 LeSharo, I replace the rear shocks with coil overs because there were no air bags at that time. This helped with keeping the rear end from bottoming out. I also added overload springs, that I purchased from AutoZone for $30) to also help with rear end sag.

when i stored it for winter , I looked under ,...there is ample space for air shocks ....


I think that combine with the air bags it should give great service .....


coilovers : the real solution ,but expensive !!!!

On this topic, I have an air input on each side of my 98 RD. I think these are for the air suspension? One is missing a valve stem. Where would I get a replacement? Bike shop? Tire Store?

no valve stem ,????



better verify the air bags then ,,,,,might be ripped


you definitely need those air bags



the valve stem is a regular item any tire valve will do !

found them at pep boys. both air bags were inflated to 30 lbs. Seems to help a lot.
