I inherited a 2008 ford camper van. The front seat are slightly turned in which is a real problem with the gas and brake pedal. Because the seats are turned in I sometimes when braking touch the gas pedal too. Has anyone had this problem. I’ve tried loosening all the seat bolts but there is no play in the bolt holes to set it straight.

Can't speak to that model of Ford particularly, but many/most of the vans and particular the older ones that could be bought with big block gas or diesel engines have pitfully small footwells because of a huge doghouse. Sometimes the passenger side barely has room for both feet even.

To fit a seat that will fit a normal with person it often is turned to the outside of the van to aim more toward the pedals but it can feel really weird at first. Often the steering wheel is not parallel to seat either so one arm reaches further than the other.
