I have a 2021 GMC 3500HD and we pull a 2021 Columbus Compass 389flc. The 5th wheel is 42 ft long. My truck came with the trailer tire pressure sensors. My question is, does anyone pull a long trailer and use the GMC TPMS? If so, is a repeater required?

Hi, we are looking at TPMS systems. Our local RV service company commented that rear dual wheels with valve extenders may limit data into the sensor because pressure and heat goes thru 2 valves not just 1. This seems to make sense, what are your experiences? Thank you

About a mile from Shenandoah national park campground. TPMS alarms, 60psi in an 80psi tire. Never felt any different and I would not have known I got a big spike in the tire. Get yourself any TPMS, they work and can save you from more damage.
