Hi All,
I am a newbie in the Class B Camper World (although I have rented a couple on Outdoorsy and had good luck).
I would like to buy one and seriously looking at a 2006 Road Trek 170 Popular with 25K. Asking price is 39K
I am hesitant about the low mileage and the age. Does not driving it mean issues could occur?
Stove and shower have never been used. From pictures it looks like a very clean camper.
I plan to look at it this weekend.
The owner bought it from a very old couple in San Diego, California last Fall and drove it back to Rhode Island. (That's his story). Not sure why he is selling it. I will ask that too.
He says there have been no mechanical issues and everything works.
I am single and feel this could be the perfect size Class B to drive around New England and the East Coast for the summer.
I plan to run a carfax and be sure there is a good title.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Diane

Diane -
We bought our 170P in New England. We used a Certified RV Inspector to look it over. It was important for us as we were in FL and wanted some input. Using an inspection service might be useful as well as a Carfax. As I recall it was about 300 bucks. we figured cheaper than a return plane ticket for 2.

Best of Luck.

Cheers - Jim
