The Driver's Seat Rake Angle Lever suffered trauma and now its interior plastic flutes are worn off. The arm now swings uselessly. Before I mount vice-grips or put epoxy on the shaft, are there replacement handles available, and if so, where?

I contacted RoadTrek and gratifyingly and surprisingly, I got a swift, but disappointing response, "I am suggesting you contact KW leather they may have something that will help . We do not have any parts here . Ph# 519-746-3510."

I contacted KW Leather who said that they did not provide the seats, as they came in the van from RT, and all KW Leather did was upholster them. They were of the opinion that the seats themselves came with the van from Chevrolet.

shop4seats.com has a photo of what looks like an identical seat, so I thought they might provide a new lever. However, after reading their customer (victim?) reviews, I thought I would first solicit the expert advice available on this forum.

If you can post a pic of your stripped reclining lever, then one of us can probably tell you if it's OEM Chevy or not.

Thank you so much, esteemed Platinum Members!
I'm off to the Chevy dealer - if they have one in stock, I won't be using the vice-grips when I take off for Quebec and New Brunswick this afternoon.
Here's hoping the USA land border opens by snow time. I have missed my annual treks to all the most southerly states.
As a side note, it is ridiculous that I could arrange for a trucking company to deliver my RT to Plattsburg, Buffalo or Detroit, then fly there and carry on south.

A junk yard call might locate a lever if the Dealer has none in stock.

Safe travels.
