Our ‘02 D190P is named Bev. She is parked in our driveway which is a medium slope. Two or three times I have started Bev, put her in reverse but she does not go anywhere. The van did not move. So I would try drive, reverse, park, back and forth without success. Then suddenly there was a loud bang and viola, suddenly all was well. I backed out of the driveways and drove off with no troubles. Concerned about this I took Bev to our transmission shop where she is regularly serviced. They could not detect any trouble.
Then, Saturday, I started up the van, and again, it would not go anywhere. When in drive the van tried to go forward, that is I could feel it surge, but crazy as it sounds, it was like it was in park and yet also in drive. The same when in reverse. So, bottom line Bev won’t move and unless there is something simple I can do she will have to be towed to the transmission shop.
So I am reaching out for any ideas or help.
Thanks and safe travels.

A similar message may already be up on this website. Sorry but I find figuring out posting on this site confusing & I am never quite sure about it.
Driving in the recent SoCal rain storms with water dripping on the driver and back of the driver's seat reminded me that we need to fix the leaking skylight. Who said it never rains in southern California? Any tips or links about fixing this are appreciated. Time and lots of sun has caused the outer gaskets to pull away from the corners but I think the problem is deeper than just this issue because silicone to these areas has not stopped the leakage. Thanks for any and all help.

OK I need help, nothing new there. Great forum. I purchased my low-mileage 2002 Dodge 3500 Roadtrek 190 P in April 2019. Never wanted nor knew about RV’s until this happened and it has been a real serendipity. Beverly is her name as we bought it from, yes, Bev.
So to the point. Last year driving from LA to Maine and back, and various points in between, Beverly began to undress. Really. Disturbing. Paint began leaving around on the driver’s side windshield pillar. Sorry for polluting across the USA. Also on under the left rear taillight. I could go on but you get the idea. Thanks Dodge for such quality paint jobs.
Now to my question. Does anyone have guidance as to best do a low cost repair, that is with spray cans? I really don’t want to spend a fortune at a body shop and getting her painted. I have seen numerous videos on do-it-yourself repairs. One even said the Rustolean white would match. Really? All help appreciated, muchas gracias.

Our 2002 Dodge 3500 Roadtrek 190 P with the light blue carpeting. Some previous owner must have tried using a bleach product to clean because the carpet has white blotches on it. Also it tough to keep clean. I'd say the light colored carpets are about the worst feature of Beverly ( we named the van after its former owner). Does anyone have a solution for floor mats that will fit or some other improvement?

I have a 2002 Dodge 3500 Roadtrek 190 Popular. Does anyone know where I can purchase new exterior window gaskets for the three skylight windows? Mine are weathered and shriveling up so they know longer fit into the corners. So far no leaks but.... I have searched this site and others without finding where I can purchase new gaskets. Thanks much. Great forum. Stay safe.
