Reluctantly, we have deleted your recent post on the corona virus.
Although we rarely screen content, we believe that an exception is in order in this case.

The issue is that neither of the two substantive claims in the post include citations that might be used to verify the source. I made a modest effort to locate such citations. With the first one, I found many repetitions of claims, but all were secondary sources, with no way to verify their veracity. For the second one, I found an attribution to "an email from a graduate student". We feel a need for better citations.

If you can provide pointers to primary sources, please include them in a revised version and repost. Let us know if you need a copy of the deleted message for editing.

I hope you understand this action. It is not normally what we do, but given the gravity of the topic, we feel a higher standard is appropriate.
