RV Trader parent acquires Statistical Surveys Inc.
Trader Interactive, the parent holding company of RV Trader, has acquired Statistical Surveys Inc, the provider RV retail sales and registration data cited in the Class B Market Share thread.
One immediate impact of this change is that SSI released both December monthly and annual cumulative Class B unit registration data for 2020. Previously the 'monthly' data were really cumulative year-to-date (September data for example represented Jan thru September totals).
So far SSI has continued to release Top 3 market share RV data for free public consumption. Selling this data in more detailed format to industry and investor buyers is the bread and butter of SSI's business revenue. Hopefully they'll continue to provide at least the basic data for public viewing.
