Canadian Class B builder Pleasure-Way Industries Ltd. is debuting several new upscale features in its 2007 line, including European radius style cabinetry and ultraleather seating.
According to the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based firm, the new models will be on display during the upcoming National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
Pleasure-Way said it was experiencing a strong sales year heading into the trade-only event. Reports from the Canadian Recreation Vehicle Association (CRVA) showed that, as of August, the company owned a 50% share in the Class B market for wholesale deliveries in Canada.
“Our sales have continued to grow in 2006 throughout Canada and the United States as our target demographic of the 50-plus age group continues to grow,” said Vice President Dean Rumpel. “As consumers are becoming more discerning, you can never rest on your laurels of what you did yesterday. It’s all about we can do today. Our high-end luxury coach at extremely competitive pricing has our sales on track to exceed our record year of 2005.”
Rumpel said the company builds on platforms from all three chassis-makers under four brands – Chevy Lexor, Dodge Plateau, and the Ford Excel and Traverse.
“We can give our consumer the chassis of their choice, “ he said.
Rumpel said other new features in the 2007 Dodge Plateau line are flush mount halogen lighting, Corian solid-surface kitchen and bath countertops, new exterior paint and graphics, along with a choice of three maple cabinets.
Base MSRPs for Pleasure-Way’s Class B models range from $63,180 to $79,820.
