Default Voilą improvements.

1. Purely esthetic change from black plastic Southco latches to Stainless Steel ones. We simply didn’t like the large black spots all over the van, lower contrast SS matches interior better.

2. Added a semaphore like overhead cabinets latches to clearly indicate latched position.

3. Change storage cabinet latch to lower profile so we can remove the lid with passenger seat swiveled 180 degrees.

Beautiful work!

Do those latches keep the sliding doors from rattling while underway?

No, these latches are for latching only and they would not prevent rattling.

I completely eliminated rattling by weaving on both sides a 0.016” diameter fluorocarbon (Teflon like) fishing line through small holes on the bottom and on the top of sliding doors. In the beginning they were tight enough preventing back and force motion but in short time the fishing line bend settled down on a lower radius so I added semaphore like latches.

Forgot to mentioned my view of the Southco M1-62-x latches, I love them. They operate with a single motion, no push/pull. Place a finger in the lever opening and pull, latch gets released and a door/drawer opens in a single motion. To close just slam.
