Default Roadtrek Versatile 190 seat

Hi,
I recently bought a Roadtrek Versatile 190 based on a 1999 Dodge Ram B3500.
This model should have to back seats behind the front, but the one of the passenger side is missing and I want to replace it.
Now, I know it's really hard to find an original one, but does anyone think it would even be harder to mount a regular seat?
I am not very handy when it comes to metal, I have no idea how to drill a van!
Suggestion?
Thanks

I have the same problem. Only in my case the previous owner installed a bucket seat from a car, and very poorly I might add. Where can I find a replacement for the seat and back?

Default Roadtrek rear seats

Hi Junglejaney,

I found another forum member who had one extra seat with the base and everything, except the built in drawer. The drawer is nothing, I can get one very close at a local big box store.
Keep asking and in time you will find what you need. I have enough to be able to bring it all to a local upholstery shop and they can copy it all for the 4th seat.

For sgiacomel, The seat is integrated into the mounting base. I looked at mounting a car seat too. I looks like it could be done. BUT you can not mount directly onto the wood base. Thats is all wood and in an accident the seat would fly off. The only thing holding the seat AND the person sitting in it is the seat belt/shoulder strap. No so safe in my opinion. I saw that there may be a way to mount directly to the fame with riser blocks and offset straps all of steel. y important to ensure that the seat id mounted securely and directly to the van frame. Thats a lot of work for me.
