Default Rear Awning Idea for Rear Entry Class B

I would like to rig up an awning off of the back of my rear entry American Cruiser. I am thinking two tent poles, a tarp, and a few bungees might do it but thought I would check here to see if anyone has done such a thing.

I just want enough coverage to be able to open and close the door without getting drenched when it is raining.

My thought is to start the tarp to the left of the sewer vent and run a bungee behind the awning case and attach to the wheel (and attach the driver's side similarly). Then, use two tent poles in grommets 5 or so feet away from the camper and then use guy wires to tie off the rear. Any thoughts?

My camper

I really like the side awning that was recently described here by gklugie, taking advantage of big suction cups, but here is another idea.

My friend is considering an ALiner, and while reading about them I noted this removable frame idea for a swinging door awning.

I saw the suction cup awning and the beak is interesting, but don't want to screw anything into the camper. The 10x10 is not tall enough at the sides...
