MVP apps for traveling...
Free iPhone Apps we use almost everyday when traveling;
Googlemaps- which can also be used offline in current versions.
or You need a map - stores North America maps as a 2gb+ file
RV Parky- find campsites from Casino/store parking lots, Rest Stops, to RV parks- reviews, filters- easy
My default filters are dog, 30A power, water
RVC Free- I use the leveling tool every time we land.
Which corner needs to come up and how high
GasBuddy- find best gas prices, the variation noticed just Monday was over 40¢ a gallon within a few miles round Bakersfield.
This will save you $$$ on a trip

I find the Allstays Camp & RV app better than RV Parky. I have both. But for public campgrounds, which I seek first and most, the Ultimate CG app currently with 25,728 possible public campgrounds is my favorite. RV Parky is terrible with public campgrounds.
Gas Buddy I use but not to necessarily find the cheapest price but what's available up ahead. If a price difference is staring me in the face I would obviously consider it. That's pretty rare coming up on an interchange with a few service stations. I always go for the easiest to get into and the cleanest and convenient pumps (important with diesel).
Google Maps is good. I will also use Apple Maps. I often cross compare for route planning and will use the satellite view to check out destinations. If they agree with my built in dash GPS then I go with the dash. I will use the apps more for change of mind waypointing while underway. You have to stop to change the dash GPS.
For leveling I will use the Clinometer app but only in difficult situations. I've got to the point where I can feel if I am going to be level or not while sitting in the driver's seat. I have a quick round center bubble level sitting in the pull out cigarette tray at the dash for quick confirmation. Rarely do we level. Maybe 5% of the time. The VB Air Suspension can level front to back about 2" up or down. That eliminates a lot of blocking situations. Side to side is the most vexing for me. I only carry 9 lego type blocks. So that is three for each wheel on a side.

it's an app which is free for ios.
it has a few features, but I really only use it for the leveling
as above, it will tell you how high each corner needs to be lifted to get level...makes easy for those of us who use leveling blocks ....to get the best out of the fridge

Not true. I have it on my iPhone and it includes the leveler, although I never use the app.

If RV Companion is what you mean by "RVC, " then it is available for iOS in the iTunes App Store. It's got a camper leveling mode and some other features. The camper leveling mode looks like it's specifically made for leveling a 4 wheel vehicle: it shows separate front-to-back and side-to-side levels on the same screen. It's not just a single simple bubble level. There's a free version and a paid version.
Here's a link to info about the free version:
https://itunes.apple.com/app/rv-comp...ign-mpt=uo%3D4
Here's a link to info about the paid version:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rv-c...329195954?mt=8
There's also a web site and desktop PC application with the same name but it looks like they have nothing to do each other, and nothing to do with the mobile app.

The Truma app does the leveling bit as well. You have to enter your dimensions - wheelbase, track, etc. and it will give you what needs to happen at each wheel.

Will this app actually communicate with my Truma?

There is an accessory part you can get that will link bluetooth or wifi on some Truma models. I don't have it, as I thought it's kinda silly to want to remote control the thing when it has a nice, programmable display.
But the app does have this leveling feature that's pretty cool, plus some other things.
