Default Loose Solar Panel

I have a 2020 Thor Sequence 20A with a pop-up canopy.

Our flex solar panel came loose from a recent heat wave. This is the 2nd time it happened. 1st time it happen, took it to RV dealer, who replaced the damage panel but new panel is now coming loose. RV dealer no longer in business.

Any suggestions how to prevent panels coming loose again? Or should replace flex panel with a rigid?

Consider different mounting, air gap under the panle is as critical on flex panels as it it with rigid panels.

2020 20AT here.
Yes. Use DiSeal waterproof tape on all 4 sides of each panel.

You will need to remove the Dicor self-leveling sealant.

Looking at your pics I understand why the dealer is out of business.

Thank you, W9TR. Will look into using DiSeal. Our local RV dealer abruptly shut down. I do know they did had a high turn over rate.

Since I am planning a lengthy road trip for next year, & for 2026, I'd would like to travel with a peace of mind.
