Default kitchen area from desk idea

I don't know if this is the right area to post this . This is a project i am going to do in the future i was sitting at my computer desk and thought this would make a good sink area etc. for a camper van , some may think this idea is crazy but i know it could be done .
The desk i have is an older one and all wood it also has sides that go up high to a top wooden shelf all the way across and have a wall behind it (like a wall panel like in trailers.)
My idea is under the desk part where my legs go could have a cabinet door attached above that area cut out a sink area install a kitchen sink . below run hose etc. to a fresh water tank and have a dirty water tank . laminate the top of the desk like a counter top.
with the desk like mine their would be room on the right side for a drainer or whatever . also this desk has 3 drawers on the right side could be used for silver wear etc.
on the top shelf some cabinets could be attached across the top . a left side wall and space area could be added (attached) for a fridge etc. and all bolted down to hold in place.
It would make a very sturdy kitchen section for a van .

Sound like that could work and save time and money over build a unit from scratch. Your van walls slope inward toward the top. (the floor is wider that the roof) You might have to trim the hutch or slide it forward if it sits on top of the desk.

Yes i had thought of that mark and thought of attaching the pre shaped van wall shape plywood to the sides of the desk , this would have had to be done anyway for making a closet or food pantry etc.
Am glad some others can see that this should work and as you said save on time of building .
