Halogen to LED in Ceiling Lights

I have done some research, including reviewing the posts here that I could find on switching from Halogen to LEDs. It appears that I can simply take out the Halogen Ceiling bulbs in my 2010 Pleasure Way Ascent and replace them with LEDs that fit the fixtures (except for a potential problem with those lights on a dimmer switch). I am looking at the Brightech G4 Base 12V LED disk type side pin 10W. Anyone have any experience with or knowledge about use of those bulbs? I have read the reviews on Amazon, including one who replaced his Halogen bulbs on his 2007 sprinter RV without any problems. Thanks.

I realize that this post is a bit old, but here is some info that may help future searchers on the same topic. We were able to replace the ceiling lights in our Class B with an aftermarket product, although a slight modification was needed:

technology is good and prices are getting better.

after trying leds at home and my 12 volt yard lights- I have decided that I will use only "name brand" suppliers- Like philips.

( I have had a couple of off brand leds "smoke" pretty much right out of the box)

I like the warm or "brown" light cast by incandescents so i'll be figuring out what to do in my 2006 Pleasure Way ( mostly 1146).
