Default Goodbye stove?

So in my other thread I talk about how I no longer have propane in my van. This makes the furnace and the stove kind of useless.

If I got rid of the stove, it would give me more counter space for preparing food.

Maybe make something for on the counter storage? Or have a place for a toaster electric kettle that is finally out of the way?

What would you do with that space?

Tough question. I'd probably make a cover for the stove and use the cover for counter space and leave the propane appliances in place in case I ever wanted to sell the van.

Go to a junkyard, get a couple of old power-seat motors, and make a cool pop-up appliance-garage for your toaster.

Me too! No reason to tear it all out.

Now I'm going to be thinking of what to build so that I can use old power-seat motors!

I've done an Oven removal but kept the stove top, put an Ice Maker in place of the Oven, the stove top flips up with a flip of a switch. You can find it on YouTube, look for "FrankenStove".
