Default Get the saw & start cutting .....

You might get a chuckle out of this idea ............

We needed a better line of sight and improved access to the sink. There's a long cupboard and microwave oven over the kitchen counter.

I've wanted to do something about this for a long time but could never come up with a simple solution.

So I decided to get the saw & start cutting .....

I figured I could always fix it later if I really messed things up!

Well, it worked! DW & I both like it. It ended up being one of the easiest and fastest projects that I've done.

You're a kind man Bruce

I know it's not a solution that would be considered by most folks as it is a bit of a hack ........... but true to form I started it using a hack saw!

Great idea. Attach the piece of the face frame you removed to the bottom inside of the lift up door. Then no one will notice your convenience mod until you open it.

It's your van, it doesn't have to impress anyone but you.

And hacksaws make every job easier
