Default Flooring help

I'd like to install faux wood or something similar to replace the carpet in my 1998 Pleasure-Way. Never installed any kind of flooring, though. The sunken floor and surrounding raised areas have me stumped. I looked and did not find relevant video help. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance. Love this forum.

The wood look in new vinyl flooring looks good. I'm not sure how you'd handle the areas surrounding the sunken floor either. I guess it depends on what is under the carpet.

This post: http://www.classbforum.com/forums/f8...html#post12394 might give you some ideas. I ended up gluing the vinyl flooring on some vertical surfaces.

I am no expert, but I think you just cover the vertical sides and then put trim on the edges. Here's a link to a good example. https://ourboleradventures.wordpress...-installation/

That sunken floor is there for some reason, probably to achieve standing height.
If possible, why not fill it up and make it one flat floor.

Otherwise, covering it with wood would make it easier to cover the sides with wood as well, but you have to be handy for that and have a few tools.
