Fiamma awning wall support bracket question

My brackets are in need of fixin'.

the pot metal is cracking.

it looks like my type of support is superceeded by
98655-728



anyone have experience with this swap- use same holes?

Hey, Thanks for that...some fun in those threads.

I'll probably order the gowesty kit and make a couple of weep holes.

I think the go westy shim kit is to match the shape of the vw body panels.
