Default CargGo...Van DIY Conversion

I've spent the past year converting my Ram Promaster 3500 cargo van into a camper for my family of four. This Tweaks Mods & Projects page seems to be the most appropriate place to post information regarding my big "project." Altough I've "completed" the build, I am in the continual process of tweaking and modifying... you can see all the details here: http://www.vancave.wordpress.com

VERY nicely done. I'm especially impressed with your bathroom!

Lots of work & planning but then you end up with exactly what you wanted

It was interesting to see your 3 valve water management; my travel travel has something similar.

Documenting what the various combinations of A, B, C (or V1, V2, V3 on your site) accomplish makes the system very easy to manage.

Nice job! I'm still combing thru your website.
It must be a great feeling, when you look back and see what you have accomplished.

Interesting... I had not seen an arrangement like that when I did mine... I started with a 2 valve setup then added the third when a friend asked me about draining the system to winterize... then I started to get confused between the various combinations so I wrote them down... always good to receive independent validation... Thanks!

Van,
Much appreciated... I've been following your Transit build and receiving your update emails... can't wait to see how it turns out.

Thank you... the BR was a labor of love... turned out better than I had originally planned once I stumbled upon the SHUB retractable shower curtain.

.

You are obviously a very talented person.

You are also very meticulous in your planning.

What an amazing RV you have created.

Congratulations!

Default New Hi-Res Pics

I recently posted 100+ hi-res pics of the Cargo...Van. I've continued to make minor modifications to improve ventilation, storage, and comfort.

Amazing conversion especially when you have to sleep four! Love where you store the Honda generator under the dinette seat where if you had it outside, it could "walk away". Great job,

Very nice job...

I especially like the water tank drain valve, you don't see those very often on an RV
