Default Battery chargers

I made an interesting discovery today I have 2 BatteryMinders that keep 2 batteries fully charged and I decided to put my amp meter to see how much power I am using to do this. The regular batteryminder drew about .2A while the batteryminder plus drew about .225A Now I also haqve a float chargwer that I got from www.pulsetech.com that maintains another battery that I have. I found that this uses so little power I cannot get a reading on my meter. My guess from looking at the meter it would be something like .05A. All batteries were fully charged and the chargers were in the float cycle. At .15cents per kw if my math is correct the pulsetech is saving me about $2 per month

Thanks for the PulseTech link. Very interesting. I'd like to have one of the SolarPulse models.

I liked that one too but since I keep mine indoors it doesn't get much sun. I decided the plug in was best for me. For someone fulltiming that would be a great addition.

Marco
Did you ever get one of those Pulsetech chargers?
I got the basic 5A plug in charger, kind of like a big batteryminder. It has been working fine. So far I never had to add water either.

No, I haven't.

It would be nice though.
