Pleasure Way told us there is a new screen available through a Quebec company. I will add the link below. The site seems to be only in French but they do have videos of the screens, I believe fit on a Pleasure Way van. They seem to zip shut (if needed) or have the magnets, but seem to have a 'brace' on them that may keep them closed better than the ordinary types.
MOUSTIQUAIRE POUR PORTE
I sent them an email earlier today and hope to hear back tomorrow.

oh my, are those metric dollars or are the screens woven by elves from maple syrup?
is this a scheme to pay for a hockey team?
I'm at the $5 magnetic screen door range....we bought 3 kits at discount store and did the side door and the 2 front windows.
we are at about $25 incl magnets for side windows

not sure that would keep her cat in though. i believe the option for a sliding screen door for some of the Pleasure Way models is about an $800 touch too. crazy, but true.

Yes you are right.
our dog wears a collar and we tie her up outside so that she can come in all the way or go outside and wait for squirrels.
maybe she could use a cat collar and line

Interesting... very interesting...
Do you have any photos or explanation of how this was done, and what with, on the forums anywhere? (What are the "kits from a discount store"?)

"Mouse-tequaire" screens would be no challenge for any self respecting cat! And, My aristocat would insist I save the money for some lobster tidbits, instead.
I also agree with Scott about the magnetic screens. I'm in the process of figuring a way to use them with a rigid bottom, so they work and can be easily stowed.

I posted details and drawings for our homemade screen for our 2005 Pleasure-way Plateau Sprinter I believe here and on RV.net. Maybe a search can find it.
