Very nice! You have an issues with the roof air conditioner casting a shadow on the panel?

Something is always going to cast a shadow from somewhere. The best way to combat this is put as much solar as you can fit and afford unless you want to haul around portable panels and cable.

I have a question about your tv antenna. I saw them on sale at CW and was wondering if they work good retrofitted to the old batwing.

I had the same question. If they work well it would give me room for a third 100 watt panel.

The AC does cast shadow on the panels depending on time of day and position of the RV in relative to the sun, mostly only when sun is low on the horizon like early morning or late afternoon.

The Winegard Rayzr antenna does work well in my location, I get more channels compared to the batwing, but that really depends on your location and signal strength of the channels. The Rayzr has a wider field of view while the batwing has narrower field of view which is good for picking up distant channels.

You would be very surprised to see how much amperage production falls with very little shadowing....One might think, 50% shadow equals 50% less amperage, but one would be very wrong....you can lose 50% amperage with as little as 5-10% of the panel surface in shadow....just an FYI.
