Default Crafter

The only explanation why vans like this are not available in NA is that the B-class family van market here is dormant or almost dead and no large company want to put energy to revive it. All small and big companies are busy wringing money from, time limited, B-class for 2 for retirees. My hope for Hymer is dead. My hope for VW California or California XXL in NA is exactly what it is, vanishing hope. VW has no plans to bring Crafter to NA so XXL is just a dream.

California XXL will be manufactured in the Crafter factory Września in Poland. Unofficially, the additional upfront investment to produce the XXLs in Września is 4M€ for production at 2K units/year.

Reading into still sparse specs revealed that 4-wheel drive and 2 axles adjustable pneumatic suspension are either optional or standard.
