Default Travelhome by Knighthill

New member here. I haven't found any posts on the "Travelhome" line of Class B vans, so I thought I'd start one.

These seem to be very rare, at least in the US. These were built 20 years ago by Knighthill in Delta, BC.

I really like my 17-footer. Very solid, well-built van. For such a small RV, the interior is comfortable and well thought out. It's in especially good condition for its age - I feel lucky to have found it.

I wrote to Travelhome seeking some history on these vans but I didn't get anything back. Does anyone know more about these.. number built, years built, history of the company, etc?

Thanks in advance.

Hello and Welcome

Never seen one of those, looks like a nice open lay out, nice to have all those windows

Assume the head is at the rear?

Does that have AC?

Hi, yes the head is around the corner to the left.

The van has pressure water and a propane furnace and stove. 12/110 volt Nova Kool fridge.

No roof A/C, but this is preferable to us - had a van with one and found it a noisy nuisance. This one has 2 opening roof skylights, which hopefully will provide good ventilation.

I love the layout - the windows are not blocked, and it's bright and open inside.
We had a 19' semi-custom van before with the "mid-ship" galley. Didn't want that again, as it felt kind of claustrophobic in there.

true enough!

we live in AZ but aim to camp where AC isn;t needed.

Rarely switch it on, and even then while at home exercising the genny ( which has never actually used in a campsite)

That is the best looking van of that style I’ve ever seen.

Default 1999 Travelhome (Knighthill) Van Conversion

Hey there. I recently purchased a 1999 Travel Home campervan. I also spent a bit of time looking around but have not been able to find much info on them either. Wondering if you were able to get any more details? After some digging I located the current company "Knighthill" in Delta so I am going to stop in tomorrow and see if they have any details on the history of the Travelhome line.

I really like these vans as well!

Cool, and pretty stealthy too. Without the awning and roof a/c, they just look like a high-top luxury van.
