If the inverter checks out as good you can check the Balmer MC 614 regulator fuse.
There is an access door on the front drivers side. Open it and look for a fuse. It should be a 10 amp automobile fuse.

Maybe check other fuses?

He's getting proper charging from the alternator and regulator. It's the shoreside charging that isn't working.

Ahh-hhh. If certain shore power is coming into coach then sounds like an inverter issue. New inverter should fix it. Frustrating.

Yup, 120VAC at cord input, 0VAC showing input on inverter/charger led display. All 120VAC outlets work on inverter until batts run out. I was just assuming 4-5 weeks as it has to go through customs. Make & model? I don't know, it's a 2017 Hymer made Caraodo Axion, you tell me. You, actually, have no helpful info on this, do you? Why don't you already know what the standard inverter/charger for a 2017 Carado Axion is if you post a reply? Basically, you have no idea, right? Thanks, Steve

Actually, inverter works fine, the charger is the problem but only for shore power as both solar and GU charge Ecotrek as designed. Was hoping it was something simple, like some reset switch. No such luck. Waiting on new "Inverter/Charger". Oh well.

Inverter/converters are physically integrated but may be functionally dissimilar. Some designs have the inverter and converter electrically independent. Others like the Hymer/Roadtrek require the inverter to be powered up for the converter/charger to recognize a shoreside power source. When the inverter senses adequate shoreside power, it activates a transfer switch that permits shoreside power to pass through to the AC breakers. From what the OP reports, it appears that the inverter is operating OK but it either isn't recognizing shoreside power or the transfer switch isn't responding to an inverter command. But before concluding that the inverter is the culprit, it's necessary to determine that the shoreside power source is actually making it to the inverter 120 VAC terminals.

As I stated earlier, 2 different 30amp sources, 2 different power cords, got it now? Thanks for your input, my svc ctr ordered new inverter/charger today. Reason for original post was to see if anyone else had this "not charging on shore power" problem, hoping it was an easy reset switch fix. Appears as if I'm the only one in the Universe. I'll wait for new part. Thanks.

I'm sorry I haven't been sufficiently helpful. I'll just have to try harder.
I asked for the make and model to ensure sending you the correct links. It should be a Signeer Powerstar LW-2000-12C. EHG doesn't provide the owner with any useful information on how its programmed or explanations of the error codes.
It has no reset function but powering down and back up initializes the programmed operating parameters after completing a self diagnosis routine.
Product Information Guide that has some amusing contents:
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/04...SER_MANUAL.pdf
Factory Utube:
The elusive owner's manual. Since its publication there was a rolling change which deleted the Power Saver mode. Depending on when you took delivery you may not have the Power Saver feature on your inverter panel.

Thank you so much, mine looks like the black one. Hopefully Roadtrek sends Johnson RV (Sandy Oregon) the correct one and I can return to camping with 30amp service. Thanks for your knowledge on the subject.

12v blankets are not made for using all night. Plus they don't have a thermostat. You should have gone for the 12v mattress pad... it is made for trucker bunks, so it is smaller than twin. Best investment I ever made for my RVs; bought mine back in 2011. It has 7 temp settings. I turn it on high so I get into nice warm sheets... put it back to the lowest setting and am comfy all night... even when it is down to the 20's all night.
Not cheap, but worth every penny.

I see. I haven’t taken the 12v blanket out of package. I will send it back and get the 12v mattress pad.
Thanks. Great tip.

One of the projects on my to do list is to install PWM controllers for the cheapo 12v blankets. Start on high then throttle down after warm up.
I just now ordered these:
https://www.amazon.com/Control-DROK-...33&ref=sr_1_33
I will mount them near the head of the bed for easy reach. I will wire them direct, removing the little timer box that is supplied with the blanket and run wire through the PWM controllers. It should work great.

We have the 12v pad referenced above—used it last night when temp in the van was below 20°. We use it a lot and are glad we have it. However, a proper electric blanket with thermostat would be 1000% better. The pad gives heat underneath where it is needed least, leaving the “outer” portions of the body protected only by the outer unheated blankets. Reminds me of a fireplace that cooks one side while allowing the other side to freeze.

I disagree MsNomer. First off, the 12v pad has a good thermostat with 7 settings. Once the bed is totally heated and I get in, I've never used it above setting one. And I have spent many nights with temps in the 20s.
Heat rises... so a heated blanket mostly heats above you, whereas with a heated mattress pad, you are between the heat source and the cold air above you. I have found heated mattress pads to be vastly superior at keeping me warm, and I suspect that an analysis would show that the amount of power needed to produce a person's required heat level would be much less with the heat coming from below you.
I had read this in many places, and after trying the 12v pad in the RV and seeing what a superior job it did, I immediately went out and bought a heated mattress pad for my home too... and gave my electric blankets to a charity.

Different strokes for different folks. Can you use the non fitted heated mattress pad like a blanket? (Drape it on top of you?)
Your endorsement in strong. I ordered one from amazon.
