Default Roadtrek 190/Aluminess Rear Bumper

Hi folks. Does anyone here have (or had) a Roadtrek 190 with an Aluminess rear bumper? If so, I am curious how you handled the propane fill. I plan on putting one on my 2015 Roadtrek 190 Popular. I have been in initial contact with Aluminess but the individual I have been talking to does not seem to be familiar with the Roadtreks. Thanks, Mike

I have a 2004 Roadtrek and I think the original Chevy bumper is in behind the rear skirt with a big hole cut in it where the license plate would have gone.
You will want a flip down license plate as access to the valve must be possible without tools and/or keys. You could buy your own removable RV filler extension to lend to the propane fill station or install a relocation kit if necessary but you have got to have good access to the valve.
You need to crawl under your van and have a good look at the stuff in the rear bumper to see if it will be workable with the new bumper. There are a couple propane regulators and a bracket for the BBQ hose if it's like the 2004 Popular 190.

We have been looking for an adequate replacement rear bumper also.

A link to such would be appreciated.
It appears that the original RT rear bumper is modified by RT to create the hole.
Any one here knowledgeable about this?

The original bumper is a stock step bumper, and RT cuts an opening in the plastic at the back of the step to provide access to the tank. No metal is cut; the step provides clearance for access. The hole is covered with another piece of plastic for appearance, and clips hold it in place. (They also add a decorative fascia to match the front, but that does not interfere with the step.)

Finally replaced our rear bumper.
Could not find one that fit with the hole already there.
Silverado bumper shells have the license plate pre-opening, but the brackets don't work for the Express 3500.
The existing bumper (assumingly the OEM) had also been modified by sawzall (or similar).

So, ordered in this one (after phone conversation with seller) and modified it.
