Removing Decals / Stickers / Badges
A quick question for anyone who has already done this.
I am buying a Hymer Aktiv, and will be removing the Hymer Decals and Aktiv Badges.
I have removed those type of chrome plastic badges many times before, all it takes is about 5 minutes with the hair dryer, and thin fishing line to "cut" them off, and a little goo gone for any left over adhesive and the paint is good as new.
Now to my question.....
The Aktiv badges are on top of the Striping (which I will keep), so I am more than a bit concerned that I will damage the stripes either with the heat / fishing line, or the goo gone.
Has anyone removed the Aktiv Badges but kept the strip?
Any suggestions will be helpful.
