Default Questions about new-to-me Zion

I recently bought a 2016 Roadtrek Zion SRT, and I'm hoping someone here can help me figure out a few things.

Connecting to city water: The manual says to close the city tank fill valve located on the driver's side B pillar, but there is no valve located there. Does anyone know where it is?

Does the rooftop solar panel charge the battery when the battery disconnect is off? The battery is AGM.

Does shore power charge the battery when the battery disconnect is off?

Thanks for any help.

If it is not behind a little hatch in the pillar, it is behind a hatch under the bathroom sink.

The solar always charges the AGMs, whether the battery switch is on or off. (I love my solar)

I'm not sure about when it is plugged in. If I'm in the van for a trip, the first thing I do is turn on the battery switch... and before I plug in, I turn on the inverter. When I unplug, I turn off the inverter. And when I am unloading the van when I get home, I finally turn off the battery... and the solar keeps my batteries topped up.

Thanks, Mumkin.

I found the valve behind a little access panel on the B pillar, right where you said it would be. I just needed to use a flashlight to find it.

Great! If you are on Facebook, there is a very good Roadtrek Zion & Simplicity owners group.
