A whole new meaning to "Take the plunge" so to speak!

Still not sure I'd want to deal with a situation if/when things don't work as they are supposed to!

Such a pessimist! That' s what my wife tells me, and I reply that being so means I only get pleasant surprises! Plan for the worst and hope for the best as they say!
