I think one of my great uncles built a train engine like that from scratch. IIRC, he was a machinist.

IIRC, it was in the 1960's or early '70's.

I thought I'd seen the full range of unusual builds over the years from Sportsmobile for various sports, animal hauling, outdoor and rescue operations. But this Class B train hauler takes the cake!

Thanks for sharing.

We have been researching all the possibilities in the class B market and the wife and I are about 75% sure we will have ARV do a build for us. We just can't find a model with the option combination we want. Thinking of renting one first during the annual event they have in May.

ARV doesn't really have standard models to choose from. They will build what ever you want or can dream up. Renting first is a very good idea.

I’ve got in the works a completely designed 144 WB Sprinter like no other on the market. I designed it myself. There are other ARV’s like us and most of the 144 Sprinters so far have been nothing alike. They do kind of have a standard model to depart from and most utilize that start bu just about every one has personal design touches like this Train hauling ARV.

The best thing you can do is rent one or go to ARV Fest in May to see everyone else’s build and their new developments.
