each type of rv will have advantages and drawbacks...a whole pile of compromises on wheels.

this forum is for Class B Rv's which are often raised top vans with beds, galleys, and toilets.

our prime advantages are ease of driving, parking and fuel economy.

the biggest drawback is that out cost per square foot is quite high.

a class C ( a van type front with a box on the back) will give more room and often at a lower total cost.

the best you can do is go and see what is available and decide your budget and your needs

we love our 2006 Pleasure-Way Lexor TD- it suits our needs, but it may not be the best choice for someone else

Your question has no answer without knowing how much you want to spend.

You can find a 20 year old van that would work adequately with some compromises for $10-$15k, or a brand new, custom Sprinter for $300k that's a virtual spaceship with every automated system you can imagine.
