Default 1992 Ford E 250 eldorado

Looking for opinions / feedback

1992 Ford E250 Class B
Camper Van V8
Mileage 189874
New coach battery
$15,000

The buying market isn't great right now but unfortunately I (my sanity) can't wait.

Hard to say without seeing it in person and checking it out. For me personally, I'd be wary about hitting the road in any 30 yr. old vehicle. Much less an rv with many add'l components and that I'd be counting on everyday.

That's pretty much my concern on everything I'm looking at. I do have some savings specifically for engine work; and I am seriously considering renting a car tomorrow to go look at this one and at least one other. With the way the market is now, old and a bit of a price is normal. I wish I could wait but my job is drive me high stress crazy.

3/4 tons are kind of marginal, you may want to put it on a scale to confirm neither axle is overloaded.
Anything rubber will need replacing. Check to see that it has AC and an overdrive transmission. Test everything and keep the seller talking to learn as much as you can about it.

Definitely taking it to a mechanic before I make a formal offer. I'm glad you mentioned that though because I hadn't thought of those things.
Did not save up all that money just to get scammed.
