Default Where to get replacement water tank 1999 PleasureWay

We have a 1999 PleasureWay Excel and need to replace the fresh water tank. Where can we find the right replacement?

You can email PW and ask them if they have any left over or where one can find it. Also go onto FB PW owners and post this question. I do not know the configuration but many water tanks are custom sized for manufacturer.

I've looked up RV tanks before, plastic-mart.com, I haven't purchased from them so I can't give you a positive or negative recommendation. Their website is easy to search and it gives prices. On the left side is RV water/holding tanks.

Some RVs have custom shapes, my PW water tank seems standard.

I had a custom tank made at "plastics" for my homebrew Sprinter. It was perfect. Holes where I wanted them and properly sized as well. Great communications and they reaffirmed all of my selections to make sure it was done right the first time. Be sure to get a clean-out installed, in case you have to access the tank's interior in the future. If you can't find one already made, they would be a great second choice.

Thanks so much! When you say "plastics" is that plastic-mart.com?

Yes. That's the one. I needed a small tank (7.5 gallons) to fit behind the interior rear wheel bump. I picked one that would fit and then contacted them by phone. I drew up the initial diagram on where I wanted the vent hole, fill tube and main siphon line. We exchanged a few faxes and then finalized. The salesman I worked with was excellent and knowledgeable. It is a heavy duty tank and the fittings are expertly welded into the tank. I sanitized my tank every year and pull it from the van during the winter. The clean out makes it easy. Good luck.
