Default Need a New Fuel Pump

00C200P Roadtrek - 5.7 engine 35 Gal Gas Tank. I've have the fuel pump out of my truck and looking for a new one. Prices range from $35. to $300! Certainly, I wouldn't by the $35.00 one but I don't want to shell out $300. if I don't have too. So does anybody have any ideas, used any?

$35 doesn;t sound right

the intank pump for my GMC pickup was $160 ( aftermarket) vs over $300 from dealer- you may also have to change or adapt the electrical connection- mine came with adapter kit in the box

fuel pumps are cooled by the fuel in the tank, more likely to let go in hot weather
more likely to last longer if you never let the fuel level run below 1/4 tank

I went with my local autozone after cajoling them to price match another chain store

the job on my pickup was easy- 8 bolts and moved the bed...in my van I'd have to drop the tank
