I found this company for repair and there is a lot of DIY info on his site. After a few emails he was very helpful and sent me this info. Boy I wish there were more independent companies like this
Since your unit has been in a failed or failing state for an indeterminate period of time, and this model is finicky to fix anyway, I think I'll pass on repairing it.
I would recommend you buy a new control unit for it. It's a pretty simple DIY job to replace it yourself.
The service manual is here and gives you complete disassembly info.
You can order the part # DPWBFC535WRUZ from Encompass here.
If you'd like me to replace it for you, you can order the part and have them ship it to me, or send it along with your control panel assembly, as shown in the attached photo and our current repair form here. The charge for labor and return insured shipping would be $54.95.
Let me know if I can help further.
Thanks,
William E. Miller, AS-EET
