For us, the need for an induction cooktop is essentially zero. Too much dependent on electric power, can't match the flavor of cooking on a good gas or charcoal grill, etc. We have a propane Fold-N-Go for the rare occasion we need a stove type burner (never really use the stovetop in the van), and everything else is done on the Magma gas grille or in the microwave. For us, it would just sit in the drawer. You just can't make a good marinated chicken breast on an induction burner like you can on a propane or charcoal grille. And brats, no contest
