Default DVD kaput. Options, Audio connections???

My DVD play apparently gave up the ghost. I figured that I could just run down to the local BigBox store and pick up a new one, but now I see that there are ton of connections to consider (see attached). My question, are all necessary? Or would the audio video out (RCA style Red, White, Yellow jacks suffice). We only use the DVD when we are in the rear of unit, in bed. The need for surround sound to the front is not important.

Other Details: 2008 Roadtrek Poplar. DVD player manufacturer seems unclear, but the manufacture date appears to be May 2007; so I guess it was about time......

As always, thanks for any and all advice.......

what type of connection does your tv accept - if HDMI is an option do that.

My TV ( samsung replaced the old 2006 tv) has hdmi but also a usb thumb drive- from which we can watch hundreds of movies.
our entire dvd collection takes up the space of 3 thumb drives.

I replaced the tv in my 2008 with a tv that had a built in dvd player.

Later I added a Roku streaming stick to it for online stuff when I had wifi.

I can't help you. I just realized we probably have over a 100 DVDs and no longer have a vehicle or in our home a DVD player. We have even more cassettes and no player for those.

I'm trying to connect all my old computer equipment to see if it is any value and don't know if I have the right cables anymore, or just can't remember. The first iPhone just sold for $193,000 so it got me to wondering.

I've solved the old photos and film problem with a lot of digital conversion equipment and techniques. Now I just don't have the time and desire to decide what to convert.

I replaced our failed unit, same location (2010 210P) with this:
https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Stereos/Jensen/JWM60A.html

I know Jensen may not be an audiophile choice but for us, it fit the need and provided all features we had before. It has 3 zone speaker setup, you can use one, two, or all three zones. I got rid of the speaker selection switch and now can play 2 rear speakers, 2 middle speakers and/or two front speakers, plus the subwoofer below the bed. These are all speakers provided in the van, I didn't add anything. Sound is decent.
If you want to find out which speaker is which on the wiring, look up videos on using a small battery to locate speakers.
We're able to play the stereo, CD's, DVD's, and it connects to the TV easily. It will fit into the same cabinet but you need to make a couple of brackets for it. I also have flat rigid foam spacer under it to center it vertically in the opening. It sits left of center in the cabinet.
Its been installed for a couple of years now and has worked well.

Try a local truckstop for a 12V TV with built in DVD. They are very popular with long haul truckers an many big truck stops stock them.

To answer your question - Yes, the red-white and yellow output connections are all that you need if your TV has that option for input.

Many newer Dvds do not have the RCA connectors, only HDMI. However you can purchase and HDMI to RCA adapter on amazon. DIGITNOW! RCA to HDMI, AV to HDMI... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087TR4M23...p_mob_ap_share

You can also get HDMI to USB adapters.
