Awning pole

One of my awning poles that Attaches to ground has no lock to hold inside pole when raising it. What are the roadtrek people using to hold it up as hard to find one online and know exactly how to describe it

Take a locking knob from another leg to the hardware store and buy a matching bolt along with a small 6" crescent wrench. Live with it till you can get a replacement part from Fiamma.

OK awning
I am at the point that I need to know if the right side of the awning - crank side
Can the mechanism be replaced?
Going to have to cut off the fabric and then push be hand the mech part
HOW TO REMOVE THE END CAP FOR THE AWNING AT POLE WHEN LOWERED
as afraid it might all break when I attempt to do this
