Default Awning closure

I have the awning out but darn if I can remember how n when to put the arms in
The other bar seems in the way

While my Carefree motorized awning is extended, I remove the support arms from the side of the van, collapse them, turn them parallel to the end of the awning then slide them inside. I do have to get the ends just right (the part that attaches to the side of the van) to get them to fit and not be in the way once the awning is fully retracted.

I've rarely used my awning so I appologize for not providing a more detailed anwer. Good luck.
