window blinds

Window blinds are loose. The manual makes it sound like an easy fix, but we cannot get that bracket off! It is a 1995 Rialta and during our recent summer travels two of the side blinds are loose. They are not critical for driving, but we are waiting for the back one to drop. Any suggestions?

Does you window blinds have a small round plastic knob where the strings wrap around? If you do then this is how you tighten them up. Wrap the strings around the round plastic knobs to tighten the strings and this should make the blinds stay up.
