Default useless 9" TV

After we removed the little TV I made a door for the cabnet , painted it a matching color, with a magnetic latch, and now use the storage place for TV cables, remotes, and other small items. Has worked great for many years! Frank

Make sure you save the TV and all original parts so when/if you sell your rialta, you can replace the original parts and sell the RV for more money.

No one likes to buy something that's been modified ...even if it was done tastefully.

We're doing the same. Making it a first-aid cabinet with a little light inside.

in my van I used 20" samsung which was about $130 at costco.

this small tv runs natively on 14 volt DC...so wired right into the van electrical system- so easy.

this new tv is digital ready, so the conversion boxes the previous owner had for the old tv and all the extra cable and junk filled a box.

there are many mounts available for a small flat screen which allow swing or tilt- in our case the tv is on a swinging door which allows it to be seen from the front of the van- the space behind now used for cables and storage.

the nice thing with a "new" tv is ours has a media player- we put movies and tv shows onto a thumb drive and plug right into the TV.

our 4 thumbdrives hold hundreds of movies.
